Position overview:

This role is responsible for end‑to‑end accounts payable processes, cost monitoring, monthly reporting, and supporting budgeting and analysis activities. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and able to work closely with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Process vendor invoices, purchase orders, goods receiving, and monthly accruals accurately and on time.
• Monitor, analyze, and reconcile AP balances, intercompany transactions, and goods‑in‑transit items.
• Prepare monthly AP reports, FX reports, utilities reports, and other financial schedules required for month‑end closing.
• Analyze cost structures including price/volume variances, material cost changes, and spending trends.
• Monitor expenditures across departments to identify anomalies, cost overruns, and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare summaries and presentations on cost variances, budget performance, and cost‑saving initiatives.
• Collaborate with departments to prepare realistic budgets and support implementation.
• Investigate and explain budget variances and work with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Support internal and external audits and maintain complete financial documentation.
• Organize and maintain cost data for financial planning and analysis.
• Support the Cost Controller in forecasting projected costs using historical data and future trends.

What are we looking for?

• University degree in Finance or Accounting
• Previous experience in Accounting, with cost control, budgeting and financial analysis
• Knowledge of SAP and Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving ability to identify cost-related issues and recommend appropriate solutions
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Fluent written and spoken English
