Primary Purpose of this Position:
The VP, Commercial is responsible for leading the commercial strategy, growth, and performance of some of the company’s most critical customer relationships representing approximately 14 Billion units. This role drives enterprise value by owning P&L outcomes, shaping long‑term account strategies, and strengthening partnerships that expand revenue, margin, and innovation opportunities. Through strategic leadership, cross‑functional alignment, and deep customer insight, the position ensures the company delivers differentiated solutions, captures new opportunities, and achieves sustainable, profitable growth across its strategic account portfolio.
Essential Responsible Areas:
- Lead and execute the commercial strategy for a diverse portfolio of strategic accounts, ensuring full alignment with enterprise goals. Own P&L performance, delivering growth, financial targets, and KPIs through direct leadership and cross‑functional influence.
- Set strategic direction and prioritization across all strategic accounts, ensuring focus and resources are allocated to deliver contribution margin targets and achieve the annual operating plan.
- Drive growth and deepen customer partnerships by developing a strong understanding of each strategic account’s business. Expand wallet share and portfolio value by guiding the team to secure new opportunities, strengthen existing strategic relationships, and identify innovation pathways across current and future product offerings.
- Lead excellence in strategic account management, fostering strong day‑to‑day relationships and building long‑term partnership value. Manage escalations, align internal stakeholders to customer needs, and when appropriate, directly manage key strategic accounts.
- Own and advance the commercial opportunity pipeline in close collaboration with Strategy & Marketing (Growth). Oversee or support contract negotiations, remove barriers, and drive solutions that create mutual value for customers and the enterprise.
- Shape and recommend pricing strategies in partnership with the region president, finance, and other stakeholders to achieve competitive positioning and enterprise financial goals.
- Lead and develop a high‑performing team, ensuring value delivery for customers and the company. Coach talent, build capability, remove obstacles, and address performance matters proactively and transparently.
What we are looking for: (Position Requirements)
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Extensive strategic account leadership experience with large regional or global customers, including designing and executing account strategies.
- Proven ability to build deep, trust‑based customer relationships, manage critical situations, and navigate complex dynamics.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, with a history of influencing or owning P&L outcomes and driving profitable growth.
- Demonstrated success delivering results in demanding environments, identifying and converting high‑value business opportunities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong market insight and the ability to maximize enterprise value through customer and industry understanding.
- Ability to prioritize decisions for enterprise impact, balancing regional needs with organizational goals.
- Strong strategic thinking, translating market trends into effective commercial and account strategies.
- Excellent sales, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills across diverse customer and internal audiences.
- Effective at conflict resolution, navigating cultural, functional, and geographic complexity while balancing short‑ and long‑term outcomes.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, enabling alignment, best‑practice sharing, and cross‑functional partnership.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Expected Hiring Salary Range: $230,000 - $320,000 (Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
