Primary Purpose of this Position:


This role is responsible for the full life cycle recruiting, sourcing, screening and hiring for assigned roles primarily in our plant operations group. The role guides leaders through the recruiting strategy session and the entirety of the talent acquisition process, through the candidate’s first day. The role is also responsible for screening candidates who’ve applied to active postings and ensuring that candidates who are passed on to interviewing teams meet the hiring standards of the hiring manager, the practice, and the Ball organization.

Key Responsible Areas:

  • Evaluates quality of posting and marketing activities; works as needed with Sourcing and/or Recruitment Marketing to ensure high-quality top of funnel candidate flow.
  • Conducts strategic meetings with hiring managers, including Planning, updates, Debrief, etc.
  • Focused on plant roles from operator to managers and high level technical talent.
  • On occasion, serves as an escalation point for recruiters by advising as needed; may provide troubleshooting in talent sourcing by identifying solutions or recommending actions to resolve issues.
  • Make independent judgment and decision-making related to hiring assignments.
  • Converts active candidate targets into engaged and active candidates through outreach and compelling conversations.
  • Conducts effective screening activities so that hiring managers / interview teams are presented with the most qualified and appropriately vetted candidates.
  • Manages the candidate experience to ensure candidates are engaged and informed throughout the hiring process.
  • Provides subject matter expertise, proactive communication, and rapid response to key stakeholders to demonstrate credibility, build influence and ensure the delivery of high-quality talent in a timely way.
  • Leverages tools and technologies that drive efficiency in the hiring process.
  • Identifies and acts upon opportunities for driving continuous improvement throughout the hiring process.
  • Follows established talent acquisition processes and use of technologies (ATS, etc.) to ensure data accuracy and process compliance.

 What we are looking for:

  • 3+ years of full life cycle recruiting in a manufacturing environment.
  • Prior talent acquisition experience in a large organization.
  • Prior experience in managing multiple hiring manager relationships.
  • Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems, applicant sourcing tools such as LinkedIn and Indeed.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent years of relevant experience

 Compensation & Benefits

  • Hiring Salary Range: $75,400 - $105,290 (Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
  • This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
