Primary Purpose of this Position: 

Regional Quality Manager will support the Director, Regional Operations and their plants. The primary focus will be ensuring plant quality assurance team members are proficient in addressing root cause for plant quality issues, facilitating collaboration between Quality CTS Engineers, customers, and plant quality team, and driving support for trials, qualification, and best practices. Lead and manage strategic, complex, and regional/divisional quality improvement projects that will deliver significant added value to assigned region and BPNCA. 

  

What will you be responsible for? 

  • Influence assigned region’s plants to focus and execute key quality initiatives. 
  • Ensures and maintains standardization of quality testing and reporting methods throughout their region that are in alignment with customer/business requirements. 
  • Facilitates standardization of quality testing, trials, and process. . 
  • Administers and maintains relations with Quality CTS Engineering Team, plant quality teams and customer. 
  • Drive consistent problem solving, routines and process to improve efficiencies at the region and plant level. 
  • Contribute to customer experience improvement including but not limited to NPS, regional/plant scorecards, concerns and other actions that drive quality improvement. 
  • Drives regional and plant quality accountability that ensures plant quality function maintains acceptable quality documentation 
  • Influences at the regional and plant level, the evaluation and qualification of new materials and products, including line trials and customer approvals and internal qualification approval for customer shipment. 
  • Matrixed reporting relationship with region’s Plant QA Manager. 
  • Provide direction on quality Capex required at plants. 

 

What are we looking for? 

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or 5-7 years of work related experience

  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience

  • Spanish speaker strongly desired  

  • Lean or Continuous Improvement experience (preferred)  

  • Beverage can, packaging or high speed manufacturing experience 

  • Strong communication skills  

  • Leading projects using Lean/Continuous Improvement tools  

  • Strong Problem solving with preference on using 8D  

  • SPC, Characteristic classification assignment, FMEA, GR&R and other quality assurance elements 

  • Knowledge of: 

    • company policies  

    • procedures, and products 

    • quality assurance principles 

    • practices 

    • nomenclature 

    • procedures 

    • generally accepted managerial practices and procedures 

    • business principles 

    • legal practices, customers’ needs and expectations, and company quality standards; statistical process control, DMAIC, statistical tools. 

 

 
  • This role can be located remotely with a strong preference for the Southewest Region of the United States. 
  • Hiring Salary Range: $ 106,100 - 151,900 (Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
