Primary Purpose of this Position: 

Establish and enforce manufacturing excellence standards to optimize operations, enhance product quality, and drive continuous improvement, ensuring organizational competitiveness and sustained success. 

  

What will you be responsible for? 

  • Spearheads Lean thinking adoption and standard Lean-Based Management System deployment.  
  • Develop and implement comprehensive manufacturing excellence standards aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.  
  • Analyze and monitor Global progress on Ball Manufacturing Excellence Program Globally in Manufacturing and Supply Chain (across all divisions Aerosol, Cans and Ends) 
  • Drive successful evolution of and execution on Manufacturing Excellence Model to be the most competitive in cost, quality and service by continually driving for efficiencies in our processes. 
  • Lead cross-functional teams to assess current manufacturing processes, identify areas for improvement, and define performance metrics.  
  • Establish protocols and guidelines for quality control, ensuring consistency and reliability in product manufacturing.  
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor adherence to established standards and identify opportunities for refinement.  
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to integrate new technologies and methodologies that enhance efficiency and productivity.  
  • Provide training and support to employees at all levels to ensure understanding and compliance with manufacturing excellence standards. 

 

What are we looking for? 

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Manufacturing Environment  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Supply Chain or related discipline - Preferred

  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving change management 

  • Communication: Verbal, written, organizational communication 

  • Influence: Ability to facilitate and influence at all levels of the organization 

  • Finance: Financial and analytical 

  • Knowledge of: 

  • Lean manufacturing principles and methodologies 

 

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Hybrid On-Site Work Environment: Based in Colorado, this position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site for three (3) or more days per work week (with core collaboration days of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). [Travel and local commute between Ball locations and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.
  • Hiring Salary Range: $72,900 - $102,000  (Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
  • This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
