Primary purpose of the position:
Serve as regional primary expert for customer portal, including maintaining commercial data (specs, portfolio), communications on pricing strategy, and manage projects to deploy updates/enhancements internally to enable improved customer experience in alignment with our region and enterprise strategy.
Essential Responsible Areas:
- Works independently and consults with Director, Commercial Operations (NCA) to ensure customer portal is optimally operating and meeting business and customer need, including directly working with new customers to conduct onboarding into portal, identification of system issues related to onboarding and/or existing customer requests, updating internal and external user guides/training, product specifications, and project coordination around enhancements with GSS, supply chain, and communications for deployment. Will oversee Kentico system (document library) embedded into platform.
- Trains new and existing customers and employees on how the system functions, use, requirements, and creates content in order to support those groups in building their knowledge base on system functionality.
- Customer setup and reconciliation to ensure ongoing accuracy across platforms, including monitoring ship-to/bill-to relationship, admin rights, third-party graphics, and system syncing process.
- Supports development of KPI and reporting out to commercial team, in order to communicate metrics around platform, customer usage, conversion, account performance, and adoption of tool with customers.
- Project workstream leadership, including system deployment, implementation, hypercare, enhancements, and issue resolution; translating system changes into clear business impact messaging.
- Aligns execution of responsibilities and work with region and global commercial excellence strategy and objectives. Works crossfunctionally across other functions, such as Supply Chain/Operations, commercial, etc., as well as global teams, to ensure teams understand system functionality, inputs and dependencies for user/customer experience optimal.
Minimum Education & Experiences:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, communications, marketing, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience doing system support, supply chain, customer engagement, operations or analysis work
Skills & Knowledge Required:
- Demonstrated skill in training various stakeholders, including employees and customers at various levels
- Demonstrated skill in strong communication upstream and downstream, with bent on strong collaboration
- Demonstrated skill in customer orientation and experience
- Working knowledge of training techniques, facilitation of knowledge transfer, and adult learning.
- Working knowledge of customer portals and systems.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing and/or beverage industry.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hybrid On-Site Work Environment: Based in Colorado, this position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site for three (3) or more days per work week (with core collaboration days of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). [Travel and local commute between Ball locations and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.]
- Hiring Salary Range: $74,600 - $104,160 (Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
