Position Overview: 


As the Senior Manager of Corporate Security, you serve as the global leader for physical security across all company sites and operations, reporting to the Senior Director of Global Environment, Health, and Safety. You ensure the safety of employees and the protection of facilities and assets worldwide by developing and overseeing consistent, practical, and effective security strategies. In this role, you work closely with Environmental Health and Safety, Facilities, Human Resources, and external security partners to deliver integrated and reliable security solutions that support operational excellence.

 

Your Key Areas of Responsibility: 

 

  • Establish and oversee global physical security practices to protect people, facilities, and assets across all company locations.
  • Identify and assess global security risks, providing proactive guidance to reduce threats and support informed decision making.
  • Lead emergency and crisis preparedness efforts by advising on plans for natural disasters, workplace violence, and other critical incidents.
  • Partner with Environmental Health & Safety, Facilities, Engineering, Human Resources, and external providers to strengthen workplace security and ensure consistent standards.
  • Manage and evaluate third party security vendors in partnership with Procurement and operational leaders to ensure high-quality performance.
  • Implement consistent global approaches to site security reviews, access control systems, and incident response protocols, supporting teams in adapting them locally.
  • Coordinate discreet and professional security for high profile events, including Board of Directors meetings and executive leadership gatherings.
  • Provide consultative support for executive protection needs during company-sponsored events and travel.
  • Deliver clear security updates and recommendations to senior leadership, ensuring timely communication of risks, incidents, and emerging issues.
  • Guide and support regional security teams, maintaining relationships with law enforcement and emergency partners while ensuring global standards are applied appropriately to local conditions.

 

Required Skills and Experience

 

  • 10+ years of progressive  corporate security or law enforcement (such as: police/FBI) experience, including global operations and enterprise-level program development.
  • Proven leadership of third‑party security vendors, including contract negotiation and oversight of all physical security expenditures.
  • 5+ years of experience managing security teams with a focus on developing talent and driving accountability.
  • Strong ability to influence and collaborate with cross‑functional partners and external agencies.
  • High level of discretion, judgment, and professionalism, especially when supporting executive leadership.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, using insights from incidents and exercises to strengthen global security strategy.

 

Preferred Skills and Experience

 

  • Professional security certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP).
  • Experience supporting Board‑level meetings or executive protection for senior leaders.

 

Compensation & Benefits

 

  • Hiring Salary Range: $115,000 - $164,300  (Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
  • This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.

  • Onsite Work Environment: This position is based in Westminster, CO and requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site 5 days per week. Travel (up to 10%)and local commute between Ball locations and other possible non-Ball locations will be required.
