Primary Purpose of this Position:
Responsible for the governance, global compliance and daily administration of all global equity compensation programs, including Long-Term Incentive (LTI) stock awards, and compensation for the Board of Directors. This includes management of several external providers, e.g. Equity Plan Administrator Morgan Stanley at Work. Also responsible for preparation of all data tables and related narrative in the annual Proxy..
What will you be responsible for?
- Daily administration of equity plans and executive comp programs (as required), which includes working and attending regularly scheduled calls with external vendors, annual awards/plan enrollment project management and payments, development and deployment of employee communications, annual enrollment event coordination for programs (if applicable), maintaining plan documents, audits, reporting, issue escalation of data/employee related issues and questions,
- Ensuring compliance with global regulatory, legal and tax requirements for the operation of all plans in all countries. Keeping up to date with global regulation and compliance impacting equity plans and ensuring the company is operating compliantly. Keeping up to date with trends impacting design and administration of equity plans.
- Overseeing vendors (e.g. Equity Plan Administrator), including setting and overseeing annual costs and contractual elements, agreeing KPIs and holding to account at service reviews, collaborating to find solutions to issues and implementing any updates to existing or new programs.
- Input into the design and structure of the equity plans, drawing on knowledge of market practice and considering business needs.
- Coordinates LTI grant recommendations, drafts and delivers agreements and other communication materials, loads awards to external administration systems, maintains stock plan ledger and supports all award related reporting.
- Oversees the LTI grant and vesting processes, including grant authorization, HR Committee approval documents, various ad hoc transactions, including exercise of stock options, as well as the issuance of stock.
- Responsible for the gathering, checking and preparation of all data tables for the annual Proxy and associated narrative as well as supporting the internal audit process. Responsible for providing Company Secretary's department with all data needed for external filing’s e.g. Form 4s.
- Facilitates payment of all components of Board Director compensation and related reporting, ensuring accuracy and effectiveness of end to end process and all related communications to Board Directors.
- Consistently identifies areas for process improvement and implements updates and regularly reviews procedure documents and process flows.
- Responds timely to all queries related to the programs from employees, executives, retirees, beneficiaries, Board Directors and vendors, resolving issues and escalating items as necessary, Supports VP level briefings on the programs, interprets plan rule provisions, researches plan documents to respond to requests.
- Monitors data feeds between Ball and supplier/partners to ensure the timely and accurate transmission of required data for executive compensation programs.
- Establishes and maintains effective and pro-active work relationships within the reward team and with colleagues in the legal, finance, tax and payroll teams.
- Responsible for training and oversight of Reward Specialist who supports on equity plan / Board pay administration tasks.
What are we looking for?
- Broad training in a related field usually acquired through a college degree level education or work-related experience.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience Equity compensation management and administration

Compensation & Benefits:
- This role can be based remotely in the U.S.; however, periodic travel to Ball facilities may be required.
- Hiring Salary Range: $85,100 - $118,760 (Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
- This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
