Primary purpose of the position:
Responsible for managing Beverage Packaging North & Central America’s customer contract pricing, approval process, SOX Controls, new customer contract development as well as maintenance pricing and pricing related item within JD Edwards.
Essential Responsible Areas:
- Creates, maintains, and ensures accurate master data of the Beverage Packaging North & Central America’s customer sales prices to support the Business.
- Fosters critical relationships and business partnership with Commercial, Finance, Accounting, Planning, Procurement, AR team and external customers. Plugs into the business appropriately to communicate pricing, execute contract compliance, and resolve pricing discrepancies.
- Possess the ability to lead, manage and inspire team of analysts.
- Oversees maintenance of tables, formulas, new customer set-up, and customer pricing in JD Edwards to ensure accurate invoicing and price sheets per customer contracts.
- Responsible for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance as it pertains to pricing implementation.
- Directs and reviews Customer freight to insure there is no profit leakage as well as analysis of pricing impact and comparison with forecasted plan.
- Oversees the pricing administration for all customer sales contracts, manages price lists, discount lists, pricing guidelines as well as intercompany pricing.
- Supports sales leaders in communicating pricing to customers.
- Directs and prepares special analysis projects and participants in the research and validation of price discrepancies.
- Identifies and executes on continuous improvement opportunities, including collaborating with IT on system improvements. Ensures necessary documentation is created for business processes and contract compliance.
- Manages quarterly revenue forecast and annual revenue budget processes and is alert to business changes and how they might affect customer pricing in the future.
Position Requirement & competencies:
- Broad training in a related field usually acquired through college education or work-related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required. Master's degree preferred.
- Job related experience for 5 years minimum.
- Expereince working in JD Edwards is required.

- Ability to lead and inspire the team as well as to be good business partner to stakeholders.
- Significant attention to detail with aptitude to quickly spot and fix problems.
- Able to perform mathematical calculations required for analysis of pricing and contracts.
- Ability to analyse and interpret data and legal language and make recommendations.
- Skilled in organizing, planning, prioritizing, and delegating.

- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate complex ideas or concepts.
Knowledge
- Working knowledge of the following areas: Finance, Accounting, Economic Value Added (EVA), business and economic principles and practices, pricing development, financial modelling, Excel spreadsheets, and Word documents. Legal documents, JDE Enterprise One, and Essbase, preferred.
- Understanding of basic accounting and finance principals.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hybrid On-Site Work Environment: Based in Colorado, this position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site for three (3) or more days per work week (with core collaboration days of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). [Travel and local commute between Ball locations and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.]
- Hiring Salary Range: $93,100 - $133,290 (Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
- This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
