Primary purpose of the position:
The role of the Specialist, Payroll is to manage specific tasks within the payroll function. By meticulously entering data, promptly resolving payroll issues, managing payroll documents, communicating effectively with internal and external customers, identifying opportunities for process improvement, and ensuring seamless execution of payroll activities. As a high-performing member of the end-to-end payroll team, the Specialist is essential to maintaining accuracy and timeliness in payroll processing.

- Achieves thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing tasks by spotting inconsistencies to produce accurate work.
- Collaborate closely with team members to ensure seamless handoffs and effective teamwork throughout the process.
- Research payroll issues, collect data, analyze information and/or root causes, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Escalate issues to appropriate stakeholders as needed.
- Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day tasks, including answering questions, resolving issues, and providing analysis.
- Interact positively with team members and internal/external customers to deliver high-quality payroll outcomes.
- Promote teamwork and personal accountability through strong collaboration, effective communication
- Identify inefficiencies within processes and advocate for improved efficiency, performance, and quality. Participate in process improvement initiatives.

Skills:
- Strong skills in organization, multi-tasking, consistent accuracy, customer service, effective communication, analysis, problem solving

- Advanced language skills to include fluency in English, both written and verbal
- Strong numerical skills for accurate calculations and data processing
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite
Accountabilities:
- Execute established payroll processes within the end-to-end payroll function, following standardized procedures and guidelines.
- Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day payroll tasks, including answering questions, resolving issues, and providing analysis.
- Promote teamwork and personal accountability through strong collaboration, effective communication, and support in additional ad-hoc payroll projects.
- Identify inefficiencies within payroll processes and advocate for improved efficiency, performance, and quality. Participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Keep up to date with new regulatory payroll and tax changes for the payroll responsible countries or locations
- Adhere to organizational standards, maintain accurate payroll records and documentation, and follow SOPs to ensure compliance with SOX and/or regulatory requirements (where applicable).
- Perform other payroll-related assignments as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Business or related field; equivalent work experience in functional area may be substituted
- Preferred job related experience in functional area, not required.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in role.
- Preferred SAP and/or ADP experience
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hybrid On-Site Work Environment: Based in Colorado, this position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site for three (3) or more days per work week (with core collaboration days of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). [Travel and local commute between Ball locations and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.]
- Hiring Salary Range: $66,000 - $92,200 (Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
- This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
