Primary Purpose of this Position:
Supports the Head of IR in developing and executing strategies to communicate the company's performance, strategy, and ESG initiatives to investors and analysts, ensuring a fair stock valuation and positive market perception. This role also gathers investor feedback for management and the board and helps attract new investors to enhance shareholder value.
What will you be responsible for?
- Spearheads the collection, analysis, and strategic presentation of investor feedback, market trends, brokerage security analyst insights, and stock performance, engaging key stakeholders across the organization and exercising independent judgment to provide executive leadership with actionable recommendations that shape corporate strategy, enhance shareholder engagement, and drive long-term financial performance.
- Acts as a trusted strategic advisor to senior leadership, collaborating extensively with the CFO, Head of IR, and other key stakeholders to independently develop and deliver high-impact presentations, while addressing critical investor inquiries in the absence of the Head of IR, influencing and persuading senior executives to ensure that investor relations insights directly inform corporate strategy and contribute to enhanced financial performance.
- Represents the company as a primary spokesperson at investor meetings, conferences, and discussions, leveraging a high degree of autonomy and persuasive communication skills to effectively engage with investors, analysts, and key stakeholders, conveying the company's financial performance, strategic direction, and ESG initiatives in a way that strengthens investor confidence and positively impacts market valuation and financial outcomes.
- Leads cross-functional collaboration with senior leaders in Accounting, FP&A, Public Relations, Marketing, and Internal/External Communications, building strong relationships and driving alignment in investor messaging, ensuring consistency and strategic clarity that enhances business growth, strengthens financial performance, and positions the company as an industry leader.
- Oversees the strategic development and execution of investor communications materials, engaging closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure that all content is accurate, clear, and aligned with corporate goals, and strategically crafted to persuade and engage investors, thereby driving long-term shareholder value and financial performance.
- Directs the creation and refinement of investor-facing communications, including earnings call scripts, shareholder letters, investor presentations, and key disclosures, collaborating with senior leadership and internal stakeholders to ensure messaging is both persuasive and aligned with the company's strategic objectives, influencing investor sentiment and fostering a positive financial outlook.
- Collaborates extensively with the CFO and Treasurer, exercising a high level of autonomy to influence debt market relationships and capital allocation decisions, working closely with both internal and external stakeholders to provide strategic insights and persuade key parties to support financing strategies that optimize financial performance, capital structure, and long-term value creation.
- Partners with the Head of IR, General Counsel, and legal teams to ensure full regulatory compliance in investor disclosures, SEC filings, and timely updates on the IR website, leveraging strong collaborative skills and persuasive communication to reinforce corporate transparency, governance, and financial integrity, fostering trust with both regulators and investors.
- Leads competitive intelligence initiatives, engaging with internal teams, external consultants, and industry associations to independently analyze confidential data, assess its strategic relevance, and provide persuasive insights to senior leadership, helping to inform business decisions that enhance competitive positioning and drive financial success.
- Manages and optimizes relationships with external vendors providing investor relations platforms, stock surveillance, CRM systems, and financial modeling tools, collaborating effectively to ensure these resources are strategically aligned with business goals and financial targets, driving operational efficiency and contributing to improved financial outcomes.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree related field, with preference for a business degree
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in investor relations, finance, marketing, planning and development, or corporate communication for a public company or consulting agency.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Clear and thorough understanding of the financial modeling techniques used by security analysts to project a company's operating and financial performance and the resulting value for its stock.
- In-depth understanding of the financial and investment markets and the ability to establish new relationships in new industries quickly.
- Handling sensitive and proprietary information in a confidential manner.
- Maintaining professional competence, ethical integrity, knowledge, and skills.

Compensation & Benefits:
- This role will be based in our Westminster, CO headquarters.
- Hiring Salary Range: $ 108,500 - 155,030 (Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
- This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
