Primary Purpose of the Position:

Manages the marketing of new and existing packages. Specific areas of focus include improving overall customer experience through the development and deployment of new tools and technologies, managing communications programs while bringing Ball’s brand to life through activations

 

Essential Responsible Areas:

  1. Develops strategy and tools to bring new products to market and to improve the overall customer experience.
  2. Manages CRM capabilities and fosters cross-functional adoption.
  3. Develops and maintains marketing KPIs.
  4. Provides primary and secondary marketing tools (brochures, standard presentations, etc.) for the sales force in order to generate additional beverage and food packaging product sales. Coordinates with corporate public affairs or outside firms to have them executed properly and maintains marketing materials in a central repository.
  5. Provides and/or presents marketing and innovation presentations to current or prospective customers
  6. Works with the NCA sustainability team to help drive Ball’s sustainability mission by supporting our customers and their own sustainability goals through messaging, activations and creative campaigns
  7. Develops and maintains database of appropriate brand and other marketing contacts at our customers. Engages with customer Marketing and Innovation groups to identify new opportunity along with Product Manager.
  8. Works with communications department on annual objectives, ensuring that all deliverables maintain a consistent, coordinated look and feel.
  9. Develops and executes yearly marketing communications plan.
  10. Writes product-related news releases and is an interface with media and trade publications as required with communications team.
  11. Acts as primary driver of our involvement in in-person activations including but not limited to trade show participation and maintains contact with industry organizations.

 

Position Requirement & Competencies:

  • Broad training in a related field usually acquired through college or work-related experience
  • Job related experience for 7 year(s) minimum
  • Salesforce CRM and Pardot experience preferred
  • Strong storytelling, deck creation and presentation skills required. 
  • Working knowledge of the following areas:
  • Significant experience and/or relevant college or graduate level coursework in consumer product marketing, customer experience, new product marketing plans, development of sales plans for new products, marketing communications.
  • Ability to provide management review and control over sales and marketing work concerned with the development/modification of products, structures, or processes as part of the sales and marketing function.
  • Ability to apply intensive and diversified evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard sales and marketing techniques, procedures, and criteria.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Hiring Salary Range: $ 86,500 - 132,000 (Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
  • Other Compensation:   This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
