Primary Purpose of this Position: 

Performs as a business partner, collaborating with stakeholders, appropriate Global HR Centers of Expertise (COE's), and Global Shared Services (GSS)  to develop and implement HR solutions aligned to business goals in support of the Global People Ambition. Provides leadership to and continuous improvement and development of the HR team, ensuring efficient and effective HR service delivery and execution of enterprise and regional HR priorities and strategy. 

 

What will you be responsible for? 

  • Collaborate with plant/site and region business leaders and functions to anticipate future business needs, challenges and influences an appropriate proactive HR strategy, solutions, policies and processes through effective communication to HR leaders. 

  • In alignment with Global Shared Services (GSS), develop, design and execute HR solutions through data-driven decision making and operational governance. 

  • Provide direct guidance and support to business leaders through coaching and consultation on a range of HR and business matters. Support the creation of effective and high performing management teams. 

  • Create a strong culture of collaboration, trust, and support by working closely with business leaders in the plant/site and region to clearly understand objectives and challenges, enabling HR to play an active role in business decisions.   

  • Collaborates with Global Talent partners to develop and execute effective talent development solutions and initiatives, building and maintaining a consistent pipeline of talent and bench strength. 

  • Be a champion for diversity and inclusion and promote a healthy work environment through actions and behaviors. 

  • Maintain and enhance essential HR knowledge and skill base through training, development and research.  Keep abreast of legal/regulatory frameworks in applicable countries and ensures conformity to legal, enterprise and regional requirements and practices by conducting reviews of HR practices.  

  • Advocate for HR strategies and communicate them effectively within the organization. Lead and actively participate in enterprise and regional projects and ensures accountability to and timely execution of strategies, policies/procedures and initiatives.   

  • Identifies opportunities to standardize and improve HR operations to better align with business needs.   

  • Partners with appropriate Centers of Expertise (COEs) and Global Shared Services (GSS) in the development, design and execution of effective HR solutions that enhance business outcomes through the use of data-driven decision making.   

 

What are we looking for? 

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline 

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HR related experience  

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

  • Fluent in Spanish preferred

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Hybrid On-Site Work Environment: Based in Colorado, this position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site for three (3) or more days per work week (with core collaboration days of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). [Travel and local commute between Ball locations and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.]

  • Hiring Salary Range: $93,100 - $142,100 USD. Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

  • This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
