Position Overview:  

 

 Our internship program is designed for students enrolled in an accredited university or college who are interested in developing on-the-job skills, experiences and insights that last a lifetime. Over the course of 10 weeks, you will have opportunities to learn about several areas of our business, network and collaborate with Ball leaders, and get involved in challenging project work.  

Supply Chain Corporate interns will gain knowledge in multiple areas of the organization while working on various projects throughout the summer.   

 

 What You’ll Do:  

 

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Assist in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data related to supply chain planning & execution, utilizing a variety of supply chain and business intelligence tools. Prepare reports and presentations to help track performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.   
  • Process Improvement Support: Work with a variety of Supply Chain teams to help in identifying and developing strategies to streamline operational process with the goal of enhancing overall efficiencies 
  • Research and Benchmarking: Conduct research on industry trends and best practices. Assist in benchmarking performance against industry standards and competitor practices.
  • Collaborate with other program interns and team members on projects that contribute to overall business improvements. 
  • Communicate with and work cross functionally with Planning, Commercial, Manufacturing, and Finance to accomplish project work. 
  • Participate in weekly check-in meetings with members of the team, leadership and mentors. 
  • Participate and report out/present on projects/other work assignments as needed.   
  • Attend professional development activities, including a professional development week at our corporate headquarters in Colorado. 

 

 

What Are We Seeking:   

 

  • Current students pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance or a related discipline at an accredited 4-year college or university.
  • Must have completed at least one year of coursework with a graduation date of December 2026 or later.
  • Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Job-related activities such as data analytics, demand forecasting, process documentation, etc.  usually acquired through college courses or work-related experience 
  • Demonstrated skills: 
    • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy and strong organizational skills.
    • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills 
    • Ability to be flexible moving from project to project 
    • Ability to take direction and work independently as well as effectively collaborate with teams.

 Compensation & Benefits

 

  • $24-$26/hour 
  • May be eligible for additional housing benefits
