Intern, Supply Chain Analyst

Primary Purpose of the Position:
Responsible for providing data analysis and project support for the IBP team over the course of 10 to 12 weeks. This work may involve performing data transformation and preparation for planning system loads, building reporting and visualization in business intelligence and data analytics software to better assess plan data, and preparing data views for driving business conversations.
Essential Responsible Areas:
- Owns system input-template data population, proofing, and submission utilizing excel and JDE
- Creates reporting, visualizations, and KPIs of supply plan outputs in business intelligence software
- Utilizes analytics to drive improvement in operational results and promote effective decision making
- Communicates changes with cross functional partners
- Works cross functionally with Planning, Commercial, Manufacturing, and Finance to accomplish project work (e.g., network optimization, cost take-out programs, etc.)
- Analyzes supply plan data and scenario models for accuracy and impact to the business
- Maintains file organization, process documentation, and team-sites
- Collaborates with other IBP interns and team members on projects that contribute to the overall IBP and BPNCA strategies.
Position Requirement & Competencies:
Professional & Education Qualification
- Broad training in a related field acquired through college courses. Must have completed or be in process of completing Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Job related experience for 0-1 years. Business, supply chain/logistics, computer science, data analytics, or finance degree preferred.
- Applicants must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university with Junior or Senior standning and have an anticipated graduation date of no earlier than December 2024.
Skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret large datasets
- Ability to make detailed presentations of financial/operational analysis on variety of business projects for management
- Ability to effectively work, present and coordinate activities across departments through verbal and written communications.
Knowledge
- Working knowledge of financial/operational modelling, logistics, Economic Value Added (EVA), strategic business and economic principles and practices
- MS Office Suite, with high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with data management and visualization tools such as: SQL Queries, Qlik Sense, Tableau, Power BI
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation: $24/hr - $26/hr
- Hybrid On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site for three (3) or more days per work week in Colorado (with core collaboration days of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday).
- May be eligible for additional housing benefits
