Primary Purpose of this Position:
Our future success relies on our ability to attract, develop and retain top talent. Our Internship program is designed for students enrolled in an accredited University or College who are interested in developing on-the-job skills, experiences and insights that last a lifetime. Over the course of 10 weeks, you will have opportunities to learn about several areas of our business, network and collaborate with Ball leaders, and get involved in challenging project work.
What will you be responsible for?
- Corporate interns will gain hands-on experiences while working on various projects throughout the summer:
- Assist the Metal and ODM team on procurement-related projects, analyses and other activities.
- Assist in supplier negotiations, cost-savings initiatives, supplier fact-finding discussions and supplier performance management activities.
- Perform various analyses using internal and external data as required and present findings to senior leadership.
- Communicate changes with cross functional partners.
- Collaborates with other interns and team members on projects that contribute to the overall Procurement and BPNCA strategies
- Participate in centrally-hosted professional development activities.
- Participate in weekly check-in meetings with members of the team.
- Participate in day-to-day office activities.
- Attend a full-cohort week in Colorado during the internship.
- Participate and report out/present on projects/other work assignments as needed.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum of a high school diploma and currently pursuing and enrolled to complete a Bachelor’s degree in a business related discipline at an accredited University or College.
- Applicants must have completed at least one year of their degree prior to applying and have a graduation date of December 2025 or later.

- Detailed presentations of volume, price, operational service requirements or part specifications of business needs for competitive events
- Effectively working, present and coordinate activities across departments through verbal and written communications
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Financial/operational modelling, strategic business and economic principles and practices
- MS Office Suite, with high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Spend management platforms or strategic procurement processes is a plus

Compensation & Benefits
Hiring Salary Range: $ 24.00 - 26.00 Hourly
