Primary purpose of the position:
Provides Finance support for Selling, General, & Administrative (SG&A) to functions within Ball Beverage Packaging North and Central America.
Essential Responsible Areas:

Owns financial processes around key financial statement line items. This includes budget, forecast, and month end reporting while working alongside business partners to deliver on company goals.

Finance business partner to leaders of each SG&A function within Ball Beverage Packaging North and Central America.

Creates financial models for analyzing and solving new and unique business problems and/or opportunities.

Ability to present to Executive Leadership Team on the analysis of business situations, forecasts and variances to forecast.

Establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the department and cross functionally. Includes ability to manage relationships & responsibilities with consistent application of company mission and values.

Owns key areas of the Profit & Loss statement, including but not limited to SG&A and Other Income/Other Expense (OIOE).

Supports Commercial Finance counterparts with innovative packaging analysis.

Ability to manage ad hoc assignments in conjunction with day to day responsibilities.
Position Requirement & Competencies:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
-
Job related experience for 0 - 2 years preferred.

Ability to apply independent evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard business analysis techniques, procedures, and criterion.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and developing PowerPoint presentations.

Experience with JDE, Essbase, and Hyperion Financial Management is a plus.

Working knowledge of enhanced data visualization techniques.
Working knowledge of the following areas:

Advanced finance, accounting, and business principles, practices, nomenclature and procedures.

Computer spreadsheets (Excel), presentation programs (PowerPoint).

General economic principles.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hybrid On-Site Work Environment: Based in Colorado, this position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site for three (3) or more days per work week (with core collaboration days of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). [Travel and local commute between Ball locations and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.]
- Hiring Salary Range: $66,700 - $85,160 (Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
