Primary Purpose of this Position:

Leads Ball Commercial Excellence standards for the organization, including setting standards, driving adherence and owns process for CRM, and owns account management planning; Owns commercial training expertise (e.g. approaching markets consistently)
 
What will you be responsible for?

  • Develop and run the full extent of the playbook for commercial excellence as the Center of Excellence. Work with the relevant stakeholders to build the negotiation strategy, owning process and governance, etc. for the company 
  • Determine and set pricing standards across the business 
  • Oversees the appropriate CRM platform. Build out and deploy a robust version of the CRM (incl. regional CRM aggregation) which captured account plans, opportunity pipelines, pipeline sufficiency, etc. Critical for business connectivity, success and transparency. 
  • Establish and deploy robust foundational Commercial training to set common language, lift and scale commercial capability and drive consistency across the markets

 
What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Business, Marketing, Communications, or Finance with preference towards a higher level education (Master’s degree)
  • Job related experience: 10+ years job related experience, commercial functions such as sales, marketing, business development, pricing, or strategic
  • 5 Years experience data analysis, market research, financial analysis, and strategic analysis.
  • 2 years’ experience analyzing complex data, interpret market insights, and develop strategic
  • The ability to inspire, motivate, and guide teams toward achieving common goals is crucial
  • Pricing standards, including value-based pricing, dynamic pricing, and competitive pricing, is critical for optimizing revenue and profitability.
  • Articulating vision and application of commercial standards and ability to communicate items in diverse, global business environment
  • Development of commercial training or upskilling;
  • Change management skills to navigate transitions, overcome obstacles, and ensure successful adoption of new strategies.
  • Market dynamics, including industry trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape, is essential for identifying opportunities and formulating effective commercial strategies
  • Marketing channels, analytics platforms, and strategies is crucial in today's digital landscape. Digital analytics tools, SEO, SEM, social media analytics, email, sales processes, customer segmentation, and sales channel optimization is essential for data analytics platforms, conducting data analysis, and leveraging data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Commercial process frameworks and core commercial development topics, such as negotiation, value proposition selling, etc.
     

Compensation & Benefits:

  • This position is eligible to be REMOTE in the U.S., with a home base within a 50-mile radius of a major airport, to accomodate travel requirements. 
  • Hiring Salary Range: $ 142,400 - 221,260 (Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
  • This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
