Position Overview:
As a Customer Success Manager, you’re a key member of the Supply Chain Strategy & Customer Success Team, reporting to the Senior Manager or Director of Customer Service. Customer Success. You will contribute to the success of Ball by serving as a primary liaison and support resource for Commercial Key Account Managers and assigned customer.
In this role, you will collaborate across various functions at Ball (including commercial, finance, quality, and marketing departments) ensuring that our key customers at Ball receive top-notch customer service.
Your Key Areas of Responsibility Include:
- Build relationships with specific customer / group of customers and management of strategic supply chain functions within the executional horizon (0-90 Days); manage managing weekly customer facing Sales and Operation and Execution (S&OE)functions, maintain and develop KPIs, templates, customer communications.
- Attend customer meetings, process development, and capture critical business intelligence pertinent to the business and the supply chain industry.
- Partner with commercial, marketing, supply planning, finance, and customers to conduct benchmarking exercises, development or improvements to the customer success role and / or its KPIs, process improvements and development.
- Reconcile customer volume increases or shift request across the various teams or may follow up on approvals required to ensure timely response is delivered to the customer.
- Develop templates and bring a fresh perspective to existing process and procedures. An independent, self-motivated mind keen to support a highly visible portion of the Supply Chain Organization.
- Address a diverse array of customer concerns by collaborating with Order Fulfilment Specialists (OFS), Production Control Managers (PCM), Commercial partners, Finance or Accounting teams, and Supply Planners, as well as other relevant stakeholders when needed. This collective effort is essential for resolving intricate supply chain issues and ensuring our customers' success in their own businesses.
Required Experience, Skills and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree or broad training in a related field usually acquired through college or work-related experience (preferred degrees in business, supply chain, mathematics, statistics, or another quantitative discipline).
- 2 year(s) minimum of customer support/facing or supply chain execution experience in large corporate environment.
- Experience creating and presenting detailed presentations of financial analysis on projects, and a variety of business problems to leadership.
- Experience utilizing Excel (skilled with pivot tables, possibly macros, etc. ) with a demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data and make recommendations.
- Exceptional skills in customer-focused service and cooperative communication.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 40%.
Preferred Experience, Skills and Competencies:
- Experience working in supply chain management, finance, planning functions (i.e. demand planning).
- Experience working a matrix environment.
- Mastery of fundamental business principles, fueled by a strong sense of integrity and intrinsically motivated.
- Experience using data visualization software tools such as Tableau.
- Experience with JDE Enterprise One, Oracle Value Chain Planning or other similar types of ERP systems.
- Experience in beverage manufacturing or other consumer distribution industry.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Expected Hiring Salary Range: $98,900 - 141,330 (Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)

- Hybrid On-Site Work Environment: Based in Colorado, this position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site for three (3) or more work days per work week (with core collaboration days of Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Travel (potentially up to 40%) and local commute between Ball locations and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.
