Job Title: Shift Fork Truck Driver - Temporary Contract

Reporting To: Shift Manager

Purpose of the job:

As a Fort Truck driver you will be operating a forklift on shift to locate, move, stack and track heavy materials whilst ensuring safety and efficiency.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

Each shift check the Fork Truck for water, oil, gas ,tyres, steering, hydraulics, brakes, lights, forks and mast, reporting any defects to the Engineering Department.
Loading and unloading of all materials and good used in the plant. Operate associated tracking system.
Supply presses with both end and tab coils, removing and weighing any H.F.I coils
Replace bulk tank ISOPAL Alcohol as required.
Operate stretch wrap machine to wrap all finished pallets.
Filing LPG tank as required.
Operate upender removing all banding and wrapping from coils.
Work within the plant safety rules particularly concerning fork truck safety.
Fill and empty balancers to keep the production process running.
Remove part pallets and HFI pallets to storage areas.
Stack scrap bales at the baler, remove, weigh and document all scrap.
Operate baler in manual mode.
Remove and weigh laps and butts from presses.
Utilise plant systems for scanning pallets and trays into Kanban, Balancer and storage areas.
Main duties are not limited to the above, as from time to time the company may assign other duties, necessary and practical to carry out the job.
Achieve KPI’s and related targets

Skills:

Fork Truck licence
Strong Team player with a proven record.

Compensation

- Hourly Rate: €26.09 Salary Inclusive of 33% Shift Allowance
