Position Overview: 

 

As the Customer Success Senior Analyst, you are a key member of the Customer Success Team, reporting to a Manager, Customer Success.  You will contribute to the success of Ball by assisting the Customer Success Manager,  by implementing a customer specific supply chain, executional planning, and order management functions into a streamlined approach specific to the Glendale, AZ plant operation and "Through-The-Wall (TTW)" operations.  

 

Your Key Areas of Responsibilities Include:  

 

  • Work with Supply Chain / Plant / Commercial leadership to support, execute the Supply chain Operations engagement model that will better meet the needs of our internal partners and – most critically – our strategic external customers; will be responsible for working in a team environment where reporting lines may be intermixed but are all focused on one common goal.
  • Effectively communicate cross-functionally to ensure that the customer’s strategic and executional plans are aligned within the central planning, plant supply chain operations teams and customer support functions. 
  • Assist the Manager, Customer Success in executing and managing to key performance metrics and reporting that will effectively communicate Ball is aligned with what is important to our customer.
  • Help ensure that the full supply chain supporting a specific customer, is working collaboratively with Commercial, Operations, IT - well as other internal stakeholders with an acute focus on the Glendale, AZ plant and operations teams- to meet the needs of the assigned customer(s).
  • Host recurring executional and tactical meetings with customer leaders (including independent bottlers) to ensure that Ball operations & plans are synchronized with the customer’s daily / weekly requirements.  This will include in-depth demand planning and demand management skills.
  • Help define problem areas and may lightly project manage where support is needed to see these through in a timely, effective manner.   
  • Work with the Supply Chain Planning Manager(s) and the Strategic Supply Planning Manager to ensure that inventory plans are integrated such that that Customer Fulfillment is better able to optimize manufacturing efficiency, operational capacity, warehouse capacity and customer stocking strategies. 
  • Partner with all Supply Chain Planning teams to ensure that executional strategies for production and inventory deployment are coordinated with the long term planning goals.
  • Work within the Customer Fulfillment team to ensure that inventory planning is integrated into executional planning and reporting.

 

Required Education, Skills and Knowledge: 

 

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business, Manufacturing or other relevant discipline.  
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supply chain planning, customer service and/or order management role  in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated skills in the following: 
    • Customer service  
    • EDI ordering 
    • Executional planning and strong analytical skills. 
    • Utilizing ERP /MRP systems (such as: JDE, SAP, etc.)  
    • Supply planning tools  (such as Demantra or other similar systems)
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). 

 

Preferred Experience and Skills: 

 

  • Proficiency in Spanish or German.
  • Experience with data analytic tolls (such as: Power BI, Qlik, etc.)   
  • Consumer packaging or beverage distribution.

 

Compensation & Benefits

 

  • Hiring Salary Range: $74,600- $104,160 (Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
  • This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
  • Onsite Work Environment: This position is based in Glendale, Arizona and requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site 5 days per week. Travel and local commute between Ball locations and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.
