Quality Supervisor

Position overview:

As the Quality Supervisor, you’re a key member of the Velim Team, reporting to the Quality Manager.

Key responsibilities include:

• To manage, motivate and evaluate the quality of control, participates in their selection, distributes, control and is responsible for the work of quality controllers on individual shifts
• Responsible for achieving quality goals (complaints, MOD, etc.).
• Train QC or adjusters on the quality requirements of the customers.
• Actively participates in resolving internal and customer complaints and processing documentation.
• Implement corrective measures from complaints.
• Participate in maintaining the standard of the quality system and its continuous improvement
• Replace the quality manager and the quality system specialist in their absence.
• Maintain daily statistics/records of defects.
• Process records of non-conforming products.
   

Experience and skills required:

• Previous experience in a similar role (mainly leadership – managing a team of more than 10 people)
• High school or University degree
• Experience with a quality system is an advantage.
• Knowledge and practical use of quality tools such as 8D, A3, FMEA
• Leadership skills and decision-making ability
• Fluent in Czech and English
