Maintenance Manager

Position overview:

As the Maintenance Manager, you’re a key member of the Velim Team. You will contribute to the success of Ball by leading plant Maintenance team and different suppliers/ services and supporting the plant Production team.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Plan and coordinate the different maintenance actions with the different stakeholders with a specific focus on safety.
• Define the local maintenance budget and lead the team and actions to meet the budgeted figures
• Follow the daily performance and coordinate interventions as soon as needed: implement the necessary organization to insure an efficient reactivity.
• Work closely with the CoE engineering team to identify and implement solutions through new designs or any other solutions to fix recurrent technical issues (re-engineering).
• Implement the relevant support from external suppliers to support the Velim maintenance team engineering actions: cleaning, maintenance interventions
• Insure the respect of all the safety procedures.
• Reduce/optimize energy usage and water consumption.

Experience and skills required:

• Minimum 5 years of similar experience in a manufacturing environment
• Degree in an Engineering field
• Ability to manage projects and budget
• Good prioritisation skills and communication skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office, SolidWorks skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Czech.
