Position overview: 


As the Central Planning Leader you will deploy the Sales and Operations plan in Europe in line with the process defined at central level and drive the regional capacity/demand balance in order to ensure the satisfaction of the customers’ demands and optimizes the production lines product mix and efficiency. Part of your responsibilities will be to define a short and long term planned demand vision for each region, and validate with the regional Business Managers and the manufacturing team the production capacity adjustment required in order to optimize the cost while ensuring a good service level.  You will also coordinate the regional planning activities in line with the division strategy and procedure.


Key responsibilities include:


•    Calculate and report to the midterm planner the load situation across all European location on a daily basis
•    Calculate and report short and medium term loads and capacities on all European production lines 
•    Define the lead time offer for the “Make to order” process, following the customer strategy defined by commercial 
•    Monitor the volumes and contractual commitments for key accounts, alert the mid term planner and commercial in case of deviation and propose solutions
•    Define the lead time offer per customer and diameter on a daily basis and communicate it daily across the organization based on available capacity.
•    Coordinate the customer communication
•    Lead the weekly planning meetings with each plant; brings global view and anticipates customer requests
•    Manage the transfer between plants and coordinate this activity with the customer services
•    Follow on a daily basis, and for the key account, the contract fulfilment and report the situation to the VP Global Key Account
•    Responsible for accurate and updated reservations in our planning according to our commitments to customers
•    Define and propose, based on the load situation, relevant scenarios to achieve service and inventory goals
•    Propose and manage improvements in cooperation with the Supply Chain project manager


Experience required:


•    Engineering or University degree in supply chain, planning, business or related area

•    1-3 years experience in manufacturing industry and international environment 

•    Microsoft Office and SAP knowledge 
•    Time management and communication skills
•    Fluent English language
