Supervisor, Logistics - Dunnage (Packaging Materials)

Primary purpose of the position: Ensure availability, sufficiency and proper management for all packaging materials used across company's operation in Brasil and CHARPY. This role supports seamless production, costs and logistics flows by coordinating the supply, movement, and return of dunnage throughout the supply chain.
Essential Responsible Areas:
- Monitor and manage dunnage inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess across multiple locations in South America.
- Coordinate with suppliers, production plants, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability and delivery of packaging materials.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures for dunnage handling, return, and reuse.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations regarding packaging materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (procurement, warehouse, planning) to align packaging strategies with production and delivery schedules.
- Analyze dunnage flow data and generate reports to identify improvements in efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee the maintenance and condition of reusable packaging to ensure quality and safety.
- Support sustainability initiatives by maximizing reuse and minimizing waste related to packaging.
- Supervise dunnage team, including hiring, training and performance management.

Position Requirement and Competencies:
- Completed Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Advanced or Fluent English is Mandatory
- Intermediate/Advanced Spanish is desirable
- Experience in People Leadership
- Experience in MRP/Planning Process
- Experience in Distribution is desirable
- Konwledge of material requirements planning
- Knowledge of inventory management
- Knowledge of costs management
- Knowledge of Lean process is desirable
- Skills in data driven decision making
- Skills in regulatory compliance
