Overview

We are looking for a highly analytical and business-oriented Senior FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team and lead the planning, forecasting, and reporting activities related to SG&A expenses across South America.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Budget, Forecast, and Long-Range Strategic Planning processes for SG&A expenses across South America.
  • Partner closely with functional leaders, serving as the primary Finance business partner for SG&A planning and performance management.
  • Consolidate and analyze SG&A expenses across multiple functions and countries, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Conduct actual-versus-budget and forecast analyses, identifying key drivers, risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.
  • Develop financial models, planning assumptions, and executive presentations to support decision-making.
  • Partner with Human Resources to manage headcount planning, payroll forecasting, labor cost analyses, and inflation assumptions.
  • Monitor travel, IT, professional services, contracts, and other administrative expenses, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and productivity improvements.
  • Support corporate and global FP&A reporting requirements, including management reports, financial reviews, and executive-level presentations.
  • Manage and analyze corporate and global cost allocations, ensuring compliance with established methodologies and internal policies.
  • Assess foreign exchange and inflation impacts across South America and incorporate macroeconomic trends into forecasts and planning activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to improve financial processes, reporting accuracy, and business performance.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Controlling, or Corporate Finance.
  • Experience managing budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis processes.
  • Experience supporting multiple business functions and working with senior stakeholders is highly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of financial planning, forecasting, accounting principles, and business performance management.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities.
  • English proficiency required; Spanish is considered a plus.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with SAP (preferred).

 

Additional Information

  • Location: São José dos Campos, SP
  • Hybrid On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site for three (3) days per work week (with core collaboration days of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday).
