Primary purpose of the position: Responsible to provide human resources support for employees throughout Ball Corporation, for all corporate employees in South America (Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Paraguay and Peru).  

 

Essential Responsible Areas:

 

  • Provides HR support for major projects. This may include project management, recruiting and selection of qualified applicants, administration of the layoff and termination process.
  • Provides advice and support to management and employees regarding employee relations issues and misconduct. Leads investigations, partnering with HR colleagues and legal. 
  • Administers policies, procedures, practices, and systems that ensure legal and effective operation of the employee relations’ function.
  • Creates positions and job postings, partnering with the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Reviews and audits the performance management process for the division.
  • Assists with the development and implementation of affirmative action plans.
  • Delivers training to include new hire orientation and compliance training.
  • Coordinates activities when needed with HR colleagues and leaders when activities are outside of South America.  
  • Acts as the first point of contact for workers’ compensation and other issues on the Colorado campus.
  • Conducts exit interviews and processes all of the necessary paperwork for terminating and retiring employees.

 

Professional & Education Qualifications:

 

  • Completed Bachelors in Business Management, Human Resources or related areas.
  • Advanced/Fluent English is mandatory.
  • Knowledge in Human resources principles, practices and procedures.
  • Experience in Success Factors. 
  • Spanish is highly desired, but not mandatory.
