Sr. Integration Engineer (São José dos Campos / SP)

Primary Purpose of this Position: 

This role is responsible for developing integrations for Ball’s Digital Center of Excellence. The role includes designing, implementing and supporting various integrations with Enterprise Systems using Microsoft Azure integration technologies in order to support the company digital initiatives. 

What will you be responsible for? 

• Identify opportunities, design and implement integrations that will lead the digital solutions to a safe, scalable and reliable integration.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders including DevSecOps, data engineers, Enterprise Architects, product and business owners assisting with integration-driven discussions.
• Hands-on delivery of integration solutions using Microsoft Azure tools.
• Ensuring design considers scenarios where the happy-path does not occur.
• Applying knowledge to support the troubleshooting and issue resolution processes throughout the integration life time.
• Transitioning solutions into production through contributing to effective documentation and handover to operational service teams.
• Design and develop solutions with Logging, instrumentation, error, and exception handling.

What are we looking for? 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• English Advanced level.
• Have strong and varied experience of integration architectures and methodologies.
• Ideally demonstrable experience of working on projects that have implemented integrations using Microsoft Azure.
• Working knowledge and experience using Python, other integration-driven programming languages.
• Extensive knowledge in building and consuming SOAP and REST APIs (including JSON and XML).
• Knowledge develop solutions using authorization protocols (ex.: OAuth).
• Ability to perform root cause analysis on external and internal processes and identify opportunities for improvement and answer questions.
• Ability to build integrations that support batch, real-time, replication workloads.
• Ideally you will have some experience of:
• Experience consuming ERP(SAP, JDE,etc) Integrations such as IDOC, OData, Webservices REST APIs
• Implementing Microsoft Power Automate
• Implementing Microsoft Logic Apps
• Implementing Azure API Management
• CI-CD in Azure DevOps
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools.
