As a Sr. IT Operations Analyst, you will play a key role in implementing and supporting complex technology solutions that enable business performance and service excellence across Ball. You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to translate operational requirements into scalable solutions while ensuring service stability, operational resilience, and business continuity. The role includes supporting and coordinating critical operational processes such as major incident management, service monitoring, problem management, outage resolution, and continuous service improvement initiatives.

  • Lead critical incident responses, root-cause analysis, and service restorations to minimize downtime.
  • Identify gaps in IT Service Management (ITSM) processes—such as incident, problem, and change management—and implement tooling or process improvements.
  • Coordinate server, network, and application patching, security updates, and infrastructure capacity planning.
  • Configure, test, monitor, and support application changes, enhancements, and release activities across environments.
  • Partner with software vendors, implementation partners, and consultants to ensure successful solution delivery and adoption.
  • Drive continuous improvement through industry best practices, automation initiatives, and support for user acceptance testing.

  • Experience in IT Operations, NOC, Service Management, Infrastructure Support, or Major Incident Management.
  • Proven experience managing high-impact production incidents within global, enterprise-scale environments.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving, stakeholder communication, and project coordination abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred and a relevant professional experience.
  • Deep familiarity with cloud/on-premise environments (servers, networks, databases), monitoring tools, and ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Management).
  • Experience implementing and supporting complex business systems and technology solutions.
  • Knowledge of business analysis, requirements gathering, system design, testing methodologies, and software development lifecycle processes.
  • Familiarity with ITIL, COBIT, Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other process improvement frameworks.

 

Additional Information

  • Location: São José dos Campos/SP
  • Hybrid On-Site Work Environment (living at São José dos Campos) or 100% Remote (living far from of São José dos Campos region): This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site for three (3) days per work week (with core collaboration days of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) or remote from the location of the candidate. Remote work may also be considered, depending on the candidate’s distance from the Ball office.
