Position Overview: The role of the Senior Shared Services Analyst is to execute a sub process within the respective work stream. The role serves as a subject matter expert and is accountable to resolve complex problems, collaborate across the organization, leverage technical expertise, and provide exceptional internal/external customer satisfaction. The Sr. Shared Services Analyst should have understanding of the end-to-end process, and provide knowledge in process improvement activities or transformation efforts. This role provides HR‑related services covering the full employee lifecycle at Ball (e.g. onboarding, benefits administration, movements, separations, HR system support).
Your Key Responsibilities Include:
- Execute established operational processes within the business capability end-to-end process, following standardized procedures and guidelines.
- Contributes to the team effort in building a high-performing team through strong collaboration, effective communication, and support in additional project work
- Achieves thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing tasks by spotting inconsistencies to produce accurate work.
- Work closely with team members to ensure seamless handoffs and collaboration throughout the process.
- Researches issues, collects data, analyses information and/or root cause, and finds resolution to discrepancies in a timely manner. Escalates as appropriate to different stakeholders.
- Acts as the primary point of contact in the execution of day-to-day tasks including answering questions, resolving issues, and providing analysis. May act as a point of escalation for other team members.
- Positively interacts with team members and internal/external customers to provide high-quality outcomes.
- Takes initiative to identify inefficiencies within processes and advocates for improved efficiency, performance and quality. Will participate and may lead process improvement exercises.
- Adheres to organizational standards, maintains accurate records and documentation, and follows SOPs to ensure adherence to SOX and/or regulatory requirements (where applicable)
- All other assignments associated with above mentioned tasks, which employer assigns to employee.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- Minimum of 3 years of job-related experience ideally in in HR services (employee onboarding, payroll, and benefits administration)
- Required knowledge in HR systems (e.g. SuccessFactors, Workday) and HR processes, and/or in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Experience leading projects
- In-depth understanding of shared services processes, methodologies and best practice
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Advanced English (spoken and written)
- Strong skills in Organization, Multi-tasking, Customer Service, Effective Communication, Influence, Problem Solving.
- Continuous improvement skills
- Analytical skills
Additional information:
- Location: São José dos Campos/SP (GBS)
- Work Model: Flexible
- Hybrid on-site work environment: This position requires regular on-site presence for three (3) days per week, with core collaboration days on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
- Schedule: 8:00 AM to 17:00 PM
