Primary Purpose of this Position:
As a Data Analytics Specialist at Ball Corporation, you will be a key player in our data-driven endeavors. You will lead efforts, collaborating with cross-functional teams and data domain experts, to extract, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to provide actionable insights that support strategic decisions. Your knowledge and skills in data analytics together with your ability to develop and implement data strategies will be very important in driving our organization forward.This will require working with relevant stakeholders (business and tehcnical SMEs alongside data domain owners) to understand, challange requirements and deliver solutions.
 
Essential Responsible Areas:
•    Data Collection and Integration: Lead efforts to gather and integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
•    Data Cleaning and Preparation: Clean, validate, and transform data to ensure its accuracy and readiness for analysis.
•    Data Analysis and Interpretation: Conduct advanced data analysis with statistical techniques, interpret results, and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
•    Data Visualization: Create compelling data visualizations and dashboards using tools such as QlikSense, Power BI, or custom solutions to convey complex findings effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
•    Project Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to define data analysis strategies, project objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
•    Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data analysts, fostering their professional growth and development.
•    Continuous Improvement and Learning: Stay up-to-date with emerging data analysis methodologies and technologies, with new industry trends and best practices, recommending their implementation as applicable. Seek opportunities to expand your skills and knowledge.
 
Requirements:
•    Completed Bachelor's Degree preferably in Engineering, Statistics, Information Systems Management, Computer Science or similar discipline;
•    Advanced/Fluent English 
•    Experience with Data Collection, Cleaning and Preparation (ETL);
•    Experience with Data Analysis and communicating results;
•    Experience with Project Development: working with stakeholders, defining goals and KPIs.
•    SQL, DBMS Skills;
•    Excel & Data Visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, QlikSense) Skills;
•    ETL (Extract, Transform and Load). Principles & tools involved Skills;
•    JSON & XML Parsing, Regex, Map reduce, Data discovery, Data sources & Acquisition Skills;
•    Agile Methodology Skills;
•    Knowledge of Python, Machine Learning, R Language;
•    Knowledge of Text Mining & NLP;
•    Knowledge of ERPs datasets (SAP and JDE);
