Primary Purpose of the Position: Manages the operational support and delivery of IT technology services team. Accountable for metrics/performance/accomplishments of that service delivery team. Assumes a key leadership role in executing tactically on strategic objectives set at a global level. Manages the planning and implementation of technology and applications. Responsible for the performance of the department’s IT function. Manages the overall resources including timelines, department budget, compliance, risk management and solution implementation of IT investments within scope. Works with cross department leads to deliver corporate and division commitments.
Essential Responsible Areas:
- Works closely with other IT teams to understand priorities, scope, and staffing needs for operational support, business as usual, and project driven initiatives.
- Participates in overall planning with IT and the business to support IT and business defined goals and objectives.
- Responsible for managing and tracking department’s IT budget. Also responsible for interfacing to the Corporate ITS budget process.
- Acts to assure integrity of corporate data, proprietary information, records, reports, work orders, and related intellectual property through information security and access management.
- Responsible for managing a large team (up to 15 people).
- Utilizes industry trends to improve organizational effectiveness; implements best practices, quality control, risk management for process and organizational improvement. Seeks out new opportunities to leverage technology solutions.
- Responsible for managing and execution of department’s identified end user device / asset management process and the lifecycle activities to ensure accurate asset inventory and effective delivery of end user services.
- Accountable for controlling adherence to the corporation information technology standards, security, and confidentiality.
- Ensures the integrity of data system processes and the quality of output through successful completion of system development and/or modification to satisfy user requirements.
- Adhere to service level agreements (SLA) for delivery of IT services that support business goals for the enterprise and protects company interests. Responsible for managing vendor deliverables and services.
- Ensures compliance with the SDF (service delivery framework). Complies with Corporate ITS change management activities.
- Ensures that all handoffs between Corporate ITS and the business unit, as defined by the service delivery framework, are complied with.
- Provides performance evaluation on Corporate ITS commitments by participating in the Corporate ITS performance evaluation process. This involves SLA and metrics reporting and communication.
- Publishes appropriate metrics, dashboards to reflect performance as defined by the division. Coordinates with business performance management and Corporate ITS to put in place metrics and processes for reporting the management and effectiveness of SLAs compared to desired performance. Monitors SLA performance for compliance with organizational needs and requirements, including follow-up checks for corrective action. Supports process and systems improvements resulting from activities such as Lean, Six Sigma, COBIT, ITIL, CMMI, etc. Benchmarks SLAs for IT services with internal and external service providers.
- Overall responsibility for the recruitment, development and succession planning of high-performing teams, including: identifying staffing needs in order to support current and future business requirements; developing the appropriate skills within the existing team; recruiting to fill new/additional requirements.
- When service problems occur, responsible for driving quality communications to the IT management and user community, rapid service recovery, root cause analysis and preventative actions.

Requirements
- Completed Bachelor's Degree - mandatory
- Advanced/Fluent Level of English - mandatory
- Job related experience in software delivery (for applications) and infrastructure - mandatory
- Experience in leadership, managing large teams, in a global, multinational, remote and matrix environment - mandatory
- Experience managing information technology in a large, complex environment - mandatory.
- Industry experience in supply chain, manufacturing and distribution background - mandatory.
- Spanish - desired, not mandatory
Working Knowledge
- System and business principles, practices, nomenclature, and procedures
- Generally accepted managerial practices and procedures
- Programming, systems design, computer operating systems and utilities, project management, risk management, security, cost management, implementation and start-up of new business processes and computerized systems
- As it relates to information services, of purchasing, legal contracts, taxes, leases, licenses, accounting, economics, depreciation, capitalization, accruals, ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations), EAR (Export Administration Regulations), auditing (internal and external), insurance, and contract negotiations
- Good knowledge of ERP systems functionality and their benefits e.g., J.D. Edwards, MFGPro and SAP.
- Ability to apply intensive and diversified evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard information services techniques, procedures, and criteria.
- Experience in managing a global, multinational and remote teams in a matrix environment
- Global Connectivity & Collaboration Specific Functions:
- Job related experience must include data & voice network operations with the ability to demonstrate a depth of WAN/LAN & voice systems knowledge preferably in a Cisco infrastructure.
- Proven record of working in a demanding, customer facing, environment.
