Position Overview:
Responsible for the implementation, performance tuning and recovery procedures for mission critical enterprise systems and supporting infrastructure. Serves as a technical resource in the area of infrastructure administration for complex operating environments. Recommends the configuration and operation of infrastructure hardware, system applications and/or networking. Investigates and analyzes feasibility of requirements and develops detailed specifications. Identifies methods, solutions, and provides support in order to provide a high level of service to the customers in a global environment.

 

Your Key Areas of Responsibility Include: 

  • Administer and support complex environments including core Microsoft Products (Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra, Azure), Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, SRM) and hardware infrastructure (Servers, UCS, Storage) technologies.
  • Design and implement monitoring, capacity and configuration management of complex technologies, ensuring acceptable performance and adherence to all defined service level agreements.
  • Administer Active Directory in a large corporate environment with multiple domains and 15k+ user base.
  • Perform all duties within ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) best practices guidelines for Incident, Change, Request, and Problem.
  • Adhere to all security best practices,  governance and compliance laws such as HIPAA, SOX, GDPR, etc.  
  • Define detailed specifications, in compliance with the operations architecture (which include infrastructure and security), to solve complex, business problems.
  • Collaborate with internal customers to elicit their business concerns and translate them into system development requirements; define internal customer needs and required functionality early in the system development cycle.
  • Participate in planning initiatives, feasibility studies, cost/benefit analyses, new systems design, detailed project workplan and effort development, and implementation timelines.
  • Participate in planning initiatives for system testing and configuration.'
  • Provide input for the development of detailed project workplans and effort estimates for solution development.
  • Design systems test requirements to ensure fail-safe integration of the solution into the production system \
  • Support defect escalation and identification of root cause.
  • Communicate technical requirements in enough detail to IT stakeholders across domains, and conversely communicate technical solutions to Business Analysts in non-technical terminology.
  • Assist with application maintenance by analyzing, monitoring, and correcting complex software defects.  Participates in efforts to resolve production-based technical issues.

 

Required Experience and Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other related discipline highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in English. 
  • Experience in other technical roles (such as an analyst or systems administrator).
  • Experience with analysis level tools for troubleshooting and problem analysis.  
  • Expertise in Server OS software,  server hardware, virtualization, and active directory.  
  • Good presentation and communication skills, with the ability to translate and clearly formulate technical issues for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

 

Additional Information

  • Location: São José dos Campos/SP
  • Hybrid On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site for three (3) days per work week (with core collaboration days of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) or remote from the location of the candidate.
  • Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
