Position overview:

The role will develop and reproduce graphic artworks received from the customers, into Ball’s dry offset printing process. Using graphics software and workflows (Adobe & ESKO) to ensure high quality and consistent output. Reprographics Operator will be communicating with the Graphics and Design administration team to ensure that PDF’s for approval and quality checks are sent within the required deadlines.

Key responsibilities include: 

•   Develop and reproduce graphic artworks received from the customers, into Ball’s dry offset printing process

•   Using graphics software and workflows (Adobe & ESKO) to ensure high quality and consistent output

•   Reproduce finished Graphic artworks according to Customer files, prepare print ready files for printing

•   Ensure that artworks adhere to internal graphics guidelines and Graphics admin briefs

•   Ensure consistent and high quality by performing quality checks of own work and others

•   Develop creative design solutions to customers through our full 360 design service

•   Provide design feasibility according to internal graphics guidelines

•   Register and invoice all tasks internally in Esmart (bespoke artwork management system)

•   Responsible for quality checks of all file formats delivered to Central Graphics, EMEA plants, Pantone Live color lab, external Ball contractor file checks and 3rd party consultants checks

What are we looking for? 

•   BS or Ms in Graphics

•   Graphics or Design background, Reproduction/prepress

•   Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator, Esko Package, AP+, Automation Engine

•   Good knowledge of both written and spoken English language is desirable
