Primary Purpose of Position:

 

The Supplier and Asset Management Coordinator is responsible for a number of activities in support of the asset and supplier management functions, and in assisting to monitor compliance of Ball personnel, and their contractors with the processes in place to manage software and hardware assets.  This role is expected to provide substantive analytics support in liaison with Ball’s Financial Planning and Analysis function within Corporate, assuring that the financial view of the software and hardware commitments is an accurate reflection of current use.  In support of the overall mission of Shared Services Administration, this role will also support other duties as requested such as interacting with business units to understand future plans that will drive planning for both financial and acquisition purposes, assisting in some supplier management functions such as coordination of Quarterly Business Reviews, and . 

 

Essential Functions:

  1. Provide training and support to suppliers as required for asset management practices and procedures, and monitor compliance at appropriate intervals
  2. In partnership with Service Delivery owners, monitor compliance of suppliers with KPIs and maintain a log of such compliance in support of ITS and Procurement leadership
  3. Maintain the list of suppliers according to the approved supplier management tiers, and coordinate the associated engagement accordingly (such as organizing the Quarterly Business Reviews required in support of Tier 1 suppliers)
  4. Ensure accurate and timely review of supplier invoices, including managing the applicable invoice-handling processes, correlation and cross-checking of invoice charges to IT’s receipt of the underlying goods/services
  5. Assist in preparing for, and document the actions from, quarterly meetings with key suppliers
  6. Develop, on a defined periodic basis, supplier performance trending and analysis reports, and inform IT management and other stakeholders through written and verbal communication
  7. Assist the asset management leader in ensuring that the governance of hardware and software assets, is performed consistently and in accordance with established practice and methods
  8. Support gathering asset related information for the operating and capital expense budgeting and forecasting processes
  9. Ensure key attributes of assets are maintained and updated in the CMS, including unique identifiers, license details, SLAs, and renewal dates
  10. Support the analysis of enterprise software agreements and associated allocations in support of asset compliance activities, and financial planning and analysis.  This includes facilitation of discussions to support yearly true ups of designated enterprise agreements
  11. Support procurement as necessary in coordination of activities related to requests to suppliers for new or modified service proposals of a more complex nature (e.g., such as coordination of formal RFPs)
  12. Support the Head of Global Shared Services Administration as requested to coordinate ad hoc activities that result from general requests of the Department
     
     
     
     
    Position Requirements:
     
    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
     
  • Bachelor’s degree with a quantitative orientation
  • 1-3 years of related work experience in financial analysis and reporting in a related work environment (e.g., financial planning/budgeting, general financial analysis)
  • Broad training in a related field usually acquired through college or graduate degree level education or work-related experience in Business Administration, or related field;
  • Working knowledge MS Office tools (e.g. Excel – PowerQuery/PowerPivot/Statistical Analysis, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Fluent in English;
  • Alignment with Ball’s values;
  • Strong customer focus;
  • Excellent communication skills in a global and multicultural environment (written and oral);
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work, and meet deadlines
  • Professional image and adherence to standards consistent with company policies and procedures

Compensation: 33,000 - 37,000 MXN monthly
