Primary Purpose of Position:
Responsible for the integrity of Global Leases records contained in Lease Database System for Ball Corporation, wholly owned subsidiaries and other join ventures. Ensures the Ball Packaging Operations leases function meets Ball Corporation´s overall business plans and objectives..
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Initiates, reviews, masters, and follows all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for your area of responsibility.
- Must follow company policies, procedures, practices, and standards of conduct as outlined in the Ball Corporation manuals.
- Coordinates and execute for active leases the monthly Journal Entries in ERP System for depreciation, interest, liability and cash payment according contract/agreement.
- Coordinates and update monthly Lease Calcs system database to ensure correct register in ERP systems
- Work alongside with Real Estate, Procurement and Finance teams globally for new upcoming leases, renewals and expirations to ensure correct register in ERP systems
- Performs, support and assists on SOX Controls, Internal Audits, Account Reconciliations and Financials Requests on Quarterly and Yearly basis.
- Viewed as a subject matter expert on their accounting processes, and is able to work with Manager to provide assistance and resolution on accounting for new items and questions from multiple departments and levels. Perform data analysis as needed over Leases data.
- Meets tight deadlines consistently and reliably, and is responsible for communicating any deadlines that may be missed to immediate supervisor in a timely manner.

- Regular working cycle of this position is 5 days on (Monday-Friday).
Position Specifications:
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Broad training in a related professional field usually acquired through college level education and previous experience.
- Job related experience for 5 years minimum.
- Working knowledge of the following areas: Leases accounting principals (ASC 842, USGAAP, IFRS) practices, nomenclature and procedures. ER Systems (JDE and SAP preferred) Lease Calcs Tool (preferred)
- Speaks English fluently
- Ability to apply intensive and diversified evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard leases techniques, procedures, and criteria.
- Must be able to handle sensitive related and proprietary information in a confidential manner.
- Ability to work independently within parameters set by management.
