Primary purpose of the position:

The role of the Shared Services Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of Shared Services analysts to ensure the seamless execution of operational processes within our shared services environment.  The Shared Services supervisor is integral to delivery of a service to business operations, driving global standardization and optimization of processes across Ball.  This role is critical in 

 

Essential Responsible Areas:

  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of various operational processes within the business process area, ensuring adherence to established work instructions and KPI’s.
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of process analysts and coordinators, providing guidance and support to ensure their success and professional growth.
  • Execute established operational processes within the business capability end-to-end process, following standardized procedures and guidelines.
  • Researches issues, collects data, analyzes information and/or root cause, and finds resolution to discrepancies in a timely manner.  Escalates as appropriate to different stakeholders.  
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align process execution with overall business objectives, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Monitor team performance and individual contributions, conducting regular performance assessments and providing constructive feedback.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and opportunities for optimization, leading the implementation of process improvements and promoting within the team the Continuous Improvement culture to enhance process efficiency and drive operational excellence.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and teamwork within the team.
  • Establish and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process maps, to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing.
  • Act as a point of escalation for complex process-related inquiries and issues, working to find effective solutions and resolutions.
  • Utilize data and analytics to monitor process metrics, track key performance indicators, and drive data-driven decision-making
  • Map and analyze business processes to establish new services to be delivered.

 

Position Requirement & competencies:


Professional & Education Qualification

  • Broad training in a related field usually acquired through college degree level education or work-related experience
  • BA or equivalent
  • Job related experience for 5 year(s) minimum with increasing levels of responsibility in a large, complex GBS environment
  • Experience on global, multinational and remotes teams within a matrix organization, with demonstrated ability to work across multiple critical paths and resolve conflicts in a collaborative manner

 

Skills

  • Strong skills in Project Management, Customer Service, Change Facilitation, Effective Communication, Influence, Problem Solving and Analytical / Quantitative
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Suite, especially in Excel

 

Knowledge

  • Expert knowledge in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), especially in SAP and/or JDE

 

Languages

  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
