Finance Supervisor, Supply Chain Execution

Primary Purpose of this Position:
The Supervisor, Finance (Supply Chain Execution) will be responsible for identifying cost savings opportunities to drive efficiencies and improvements in the supply chain execution function. This role will work closely with the Supply Chain and FP&A leaders in each region. The approximately $1 billion of annual spend in the supply chain and logistics space will be the scope of this role’s responsibility to understand costs and drivers and work to identify, scope, and deliver projects to reduce cost. This role will report to the Director, Finance (Procurement and Supply Chain Execution).
Essential Responsible Areas:
- Globally lead collaboration with regional supply chain and finance teams to define drivers of financial performance in supply chain execution & logistics.
- Develop and implement global standards within SCE to optimize savings generation and execution aligned to FFG activities
- Create models to perform root cause analysis on supply chain costs and present findings to upper management.
- Provide strategic advice and recommendations to SCE leadership as it relates to savings and financing.
- Perform ad hoc cost analyses to identify trends and opportunities for increasing efficiencies and reducing cost.
- Identify, scope, and prepare business cases for savings initiatives.
- Global financial lead for multiple projects to deliver cost savings.
- Work directly with regional SCE leadership teams to develop and monitor financial KPI’s to drive visibility and increase optimization.
- Lead the development of the financial strategy to generate savings and optimization in SCE categories, specifically within warehouse and freight categories.
- Lead financial process and data improvements in the supply chain execution area.
- Create and foster a financial partnership with the Sr. Director, Global Supply Chain Logistics and with the full Supply Chain Leadership team

What we are looking for:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required.
Experience: Minimum of five years, preferably more, of progressive finance/accounting experience. - Analytical skills: Exceptional analytical ability, including comprehension of financial performance results and associated evaluation of drivers affecting results.
- Prioritization: Must be able to manage conflicting priorities and to meet established timelines while maintaining accuracy of work.

- Technology skills: Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.). Proficient using Hyperion Financial Tools.
- Communication skills: Experience communicating effectively with various levels of an organization (executive to individual contributor).
