Position overview:

You will provide technical support to our plants in Europe through maintenance, parts assembly, and troubleshooting. Whilst this is a hands-on role, you will also get the opportunity to share and drive best practice, create training manuals, and support installation and start-up of new plants and additional production lines in existing locations.  

This role gives you the chance to develop within our central Engineering department, practice language skills and to travel – planned and call-outs – across the region, predominantly to Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy and the Nordics.

 

We are open to people with and without industry experience – technical school graduates are welcome!
 
Key responsibilities include:

•    Unload, inspect and prepare machinery and parts on arrival at Wellness Centre

•    Repair and rebuild of mechanical equipment and parts according to manufacturer’s drawings and documentation

•    Provide specialised technical support in the plants by guiding teams on improvements or problem solving on process equipment.

•    Working with suppliers and preparing mechanical assemblies to support with new equipment installation and start-up.

•    Ensure drawings and records are up to date and filed in accordance with policies.

•    Drive standardisation through the generation and distribution of best practice documents and support in generating training materials.

•    Carry out audits to ensure equipment is within specification. Generate reports and recommendations for any out-of-specification items.

•    Work with suppliers and OEM’s to keep updated on latest developments and improvements that can be implemented to reduce maintenance time and improve equipment life.

 

What are we looking for?

•    Experience in a role involving preventative, planned, and emergency maintenance in an industrial environment

•    Clear communication across cultures and functions and ability to explain processes to non-technical colleagues.

•    Knowledge of hand tools and attention to detail

•    Good knowledge of English
