Position overview:
Plant Administrator provides general administrative support to the Plant Manager and the Plant management team and is the first point of contact for visitors.
Key responsibilities include:
• Offers support to the management team in office and business-related tasks. Regularly attends all management meetings, takes minutes of meetings.
• Provides daily support to the Plant Manager by tracking general activities, primarily related to communication and correspondence with external collaborators (Chambers of Commerce, ministries, PR agencies, etc.).
• Welcomes and attends to visitors, monitors all visits, and supports the organization of their stay.
• Organizes business travel for employees, including travel orders, visa arrangements, taxi vouchers, travel insurance, and other travel-related needs.
• Responds promptly to telephone calls and redirects them as necessary.
• Receives, sorts, and distributes daily mail/packages.
• Maintains a safe and tidy reception area in accordance with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Prepares, prints, binds, and archives all company documents and reports as needed.
• Prepares and organizes documentation and reports.
• Provides support to the Human Resources department as needed.
• Oversees the procurement of office supplies.
• Coordinates the sale process of aluminum waste (Scrap and UBC).
What are we looking for?
• High school diploma or higher education degree.
• Excellent knowledge of the English language (both written and spoken).
• Proficiency in working with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Preferably, work experience in similar roles, ideally in an international environment.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
