We are growing!!!!   As part of our growth plans, we are looking to expand our manufacturing capabilities within the Greater Wilkes-Barre area. 

 

Primary Purpose of Position:

Responsible for leading process team and driving plant process optimization of a high volume, 24/7 manufacturing facility.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Lead and develop team members and manage resources, activities, and vendors to assure efficient operations for the process area.
  • Establishes, documents, monitors and improves maintenance procedures on equipment. 
  • Uses data to diagnose problem areas and leads team through development and implementation of corrective action plans.
  • Drives a culture of root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
  • Applies knowledge of functional area to conduct system and process analysis, identifies opportunities for improvement, and makes recommendations to management.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Participates in designing and overseeing new systems and processes that improve and enhance plant performance in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Coordinates and applies maintenance techniques directed toward monitoring and reducing maintenance and repair costs.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Arranges for maintenance of adequate level of supplies, materials, and parts so that there will be no interruption in operations due to shortages.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Arranges for training of employees in proper maintenance programs and procedures for plant production equipment.

    <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Position Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of areas including, but not limited to:
  • High speed hydraulic and cam driven presses, draw and iron processes, conveying equipment, vacuum systems, compressor and other support equipment.  
  • Production processes, product specifications and technology of equipment.
  • Generally accepted supervisory practices and procedures.
  • Broad training in a related field usually acquired through college level education or work-related experience.
  • Job related experience for 5 year(s) minimum.
  • Ability to partner and negotiate with contractors and vendors.
  • Must be able to handle sensitive related and proprietary information in a confidential manner.
  • Works in both manufacturing and office environments.
