We have multiple Production Technician openings at our Pittston, PA  plant.    Production Technicians will perform various manual or mechanical production functions by operating, adjusting, and repairing production equipment to meet customer specifications.  Production Technicians perform tasks and provide services to support the plant’s production goals, overall business plans and objectives, as directed.

 

Essential Responsible Areas:

  • Perform duties as required to ensure compliance with the plant’s quality standards.
  • Perform various manual or mechanical production functions by operating, adjusting, and repairing production equipment to meet customer specifications.
  • Perform troubleshooting on production equipment as required.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment as required.
  • Input data on a computer terminal to identify, label, and palletize finished products.
  • Unload, receive, inspect, and stage raw materials, scrap, packaging materials, chemical and other supplies.
  • May operate can line briquetter, end line baler, and slug accumulator.

 
Minimum Requirements to be considered for the role:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Job related experience for 1 year(s) minimum.
  • Experience working in an industrial environment.
  • Troubleshooting skills/experience such as: auto/diesel engine repair, disassembles, and rebuilding production equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to use hand and power tools.
     

Additional Preferred Experience:

Experience working with bearings, shafts, pulleys, sprockets, belts and conveyors. 

 

Compensation & Benefits

  • HOURLY RATE: $28.21
  • Other Compensation:   This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
