Technical Training Specialist

Purpose of the position:

The main purpose of this position is to ensure that Operations employees get in a timely manner a proper training in accordance with the position held based on defined skills standards. 
For this purpose, it is required to develop and manage all technical training programs within the plant and their successful delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify technical training needs and skills standards. 
• Define and update the list of tasks and skills that need to be trained for shopfloor workers for all process areas.
• Design and develop a comprehensive training plan for shopfloor employees that aligns with business objectives and industry best practices. 
• Create/ensure availability of training materials, resources, and documentation, including presentations, handouts, online modules, and assessments.
• Control that training material is created and approved by process specialists and key experts
• Collect information and create reports on training delivery.
• Establish and maintain a training calendar to ensure timely delivery of technical training programs.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
• Control that appropriate training material exists for every type of training
• Provide a report to the Plant Manager and operation team on the progress of technical training and the level of skills and competencies for all shopfloor employees.

Knowledge and experience required:

• Technical background and in-depth knowledge of industry-specific technical concepts, tools, and processes
• Experience with Technical Training in an industrial setting.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
• Fluent in English and Italian
