Maintenance Mechanic

Purpose of the job:

To make good quality cans to specification

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

Bodymaker QC checks, water bath checks x2, work on BM breakdowns such as; short can issues, trimmer jams, unloader jams, redraw adjustments air leak faults and fix, misfeed issues, spec adjustments, polish/ring changes, know what ring does what, tool pack changes, start-up sheets, xhatch punch/polish, coil perp and paperwork, bailer duty, attend washer stoppages, help on all 3 lines, housekeeping.

Professional & Education:             

Mechanical background

Fully qualified engineer (desirable)

Previous experience:

Worked in high speed production            

Canning work experience (desirable)
