COMPETITIVE SALARIES - ABOVE MARKET RATE 

This role involved shift work - 12 hour shifts, days, nights and weekend working 

 

Purpose of the job

  • Manage Body Makers and Cupper
  • Health and Safety compliance, work in a safe manor following the company guide lines
  • PM compliance
  • Line Efficiency
  • Completion of paper work
  • Fault finding
  • Monthly and weekly maintenance tasks

 

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

  • Completion of daily PM’s
  • React to break downs
  • Problem solving and identifying faults
  • Monthly PM’s done on time
  • Work within a team building and sharing knowledge
  • Priorities work to maximise output
  • Communicate with your Team Leader
  • Lead and help the mechanics when needed
  • Ensure all Quality checks and start up sheets are complete
  • Communicate good and effective hand overs

 

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Professional & Education Qualifications                

  • Engineering qualification
  • Time served in similar environment
  • Able to understand and interpret data
  • Engineering Degree (desirable)
  • Previous experience working in a high speed factory
  • Engineering line work    
  • Fabrication and welding skills (desirable)
  • Good English and Maths
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to work in a team and on their own
  • Good communicator
  • Good fault finding skills
  • Lean manufacturing experience (desirable)
