Base salary – starting salary is £53,265 per annum, increasing to £56,225 per annum upon completion of the first phase of the skills matrix and a further increase to £59,184 per annum upon full completion of the skills matrix

This role involves shift work – 12 hour shifts, working days, nights and weekends

 

 Purpose of the job

•             Manage the equipment 

•             Health and Safety comliance 

•             PM activity compliance, monthly and weekly maintenance tasks 

•             Line Efficiency activity 

•             Fault finding      

 

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

•             Health and safety (complete all safety checks within the required timeframe), work in a safe manor following the company guidelines

•             Completion of daily and monthly PM’s

•             React to break downs

•             Problem solving and identifying faults        

•             Work within a team building and sharing knowledge

•             Lead, cooch and help the mechanics when needed

•             Communicate good and effective hand overs

 

PERSON SPECIFICATION

   

  • Engineering qualification/Time served in similar environment
  • Able to understand and interpret data
  • Previous experience working in a high speed factory               
  • Engineering line work skills and experience    
  • Fabrication and welding skills                          
  • Good English and Maths
  • Attention to detail, able to interpret date
  • Able to work in a team and on their own
  • Good communicator, ability to lead by example          
  • Drive and enthusiasm
  • Step up when needed
  • Flexibility
  • Team player
