Human Resources Generalist

Position Overview 

The HR Generalist plays a key role in supporting the HR Manager, People Leaders and colleagues throughout the entire employee lifecycle while contributing to the delivery of the Plant HR and Regional HR strategy. The position provides a robust and professional HR service, ensuring legal compliance, mitigating risk, supporting employee engagement, and delivering a positive employee experience. 

Key Responsibilities Include 

• Ensuring all HR transactional activities are completed accurately, within agreed timescales, and to high-quality standards. 

• Managing employment lifecycle administration including starters, leavers, transfers, promotions and appraisals. 

• Acting as the first point of contact for HR queries. 

• Maintaining accurate HR systems and employee records. 

• Producing HR reports, KPI metrics and workforce analyses. 

• Providing payroll administration support. 

• Coordinating Occupational Health and absence management activities. 

• Supporting recruitment, onboarding and induction. 

• Participating in HR projects and process improvements. 

What Are We Looking For? 

• CIPD qualification, HR Degree, or equivalent practical HR experience. 

• Previous HR experience in a similar HR role. 

• Strong organisational and communication skills. 

• Experience with HR data and KPI reporting. 

• Microsoft Office proficiency. 

• Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors is an advantage. 

• Understanding of employment law and HR best practices. 

• Fluent English.
