Position overview:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health & Safety professional to join a high volume manufacturing company working at a site in Milton Keynes. This role requires an individual who is looking to progress their career as well as grow with a business. The ideal candidate will hold a NEBOSH General or NEBOSH diploma and be an individual keen to support the businesses EHS culture and build relationships across the business the site.


EHS Officer will be responsible for:

  • Actively taking part in examining EHS incidents and accidents, including all RIDDOR accidents that occur at work sites.
  • Maintain reporting for senior and Group management teams.
  • Implementing and enforcing effective preventive and corrective measures in response to customer complaints, environmental incidents, and accident reports.
  • Participating in investigation of EHS incidents and accidents including all RIDDOR accidents on sites.
  • Carrying out site audits around UK.
    Maintaining and improving EHS systems.


The Health, Safety & Environmental Officer will have:

  • A consistent track record of driving the health and safety agenda for a safe workplace at a plant level.
  • NEBOSH General and Environmental Certification.
  • IOSH Membership at Technical level or higher.
    Experience in External EHS auditing systems such as ISO 14001 & ISO    45001.
  • 3 or more years of EHS experience in an engineering environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and is capable of collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.
