Position overview:

The Mechanical Back End Process Leader will direct and manage the engineering operations in respect of the plants engineering systems, equipment and management process, provide leadership, building an effective, cohesive and committed team which will maintain maximum safety, quality and production standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading Back End production processes inside Aluminum can manufacturing plant, conducting research and finding ways to increase safety, efficiency, quality and reduce operational costs
• Organizing preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance of equipment and machines, as well as annual overhauls, in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations, specifications and maintenance plans for the Back End process, such as the Decorators, Internal Bake Ovens, Lacquer Spray Machines, Pin Ovens, Neckers
• Participating in projects of installation and commissioning of new equipment, as well as projects of optimization and modernization of equipment in Decorators, Internal Bake Ovens, Lacquer Spray Machines, Neckers, Pin Ovens, production processes in area of responsibility
• Coordinating DECO, LSM maintenance technician’s scope of work, in production which runs continuously 24/7
• Creating procedures and following safety regulations in Back End process area
• Responsible for lacquer usage and optimization, spoilage reduction and quality of product
• Rmaintenance budget within process area
• Maintaining equipment within Back End process area
• Leading LEAN activities within Back End  process area
• Participating, organizing and managing Team to solve the causes (RCA) of equipment downtime in accordance with safety and legal regulations
• Suggesting opportunities for process improvements and equipment renewal

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Job related experience for 2+ years within production environment
• Experience in Team leadership roles
• Understanding of Mechanical principles of equipment assemblies, machine elements, manufacturing technology; rotary equipment
• LEAN tools (5S, Problem solving)
• Drive for improvements and strong cross functional communication 
• Ability to make independent decisions
• Fluent English
