Position overview:

The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will coordinate and supervise mechanical activities to achieve the highest level of quality, safety and effectiveness to maximize equipment availability of plant equipment at the lowest optimum sustainable maintenance cost in compliance with E&H&S as well as environmental rules and regulations

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the team of mechanical technicians,
• Being responsible for following the requirements of quality standards of all activities,
• Demonstrate leadership in the area of EHS and ensure all maintenance activities on site exceed the appropriate EHS standards,

• Ensure teams working comply with Maintenance and Repair Policy,
• Ensure the related standards are in place in all machines, equipments, automation sytems to produce high quality and efficiency,
• Supervise the execution of the daily/weekly maintenance repairs; recommend technical improvements for cost reductions,
• Ensure to have proper equipments in storeroom with correct specs and amounts,
• Ensure continuous improvement studies lead in maintenance processes,
• Responsible for the timely response to repair requests. Guarantees the correct and on time execution of work, interpret the results and generates actions based on inspection. Reports any abnormality in the daily meetings. Monitor job duration, cost and performance of crew and subcontractors working under their responsibility.
• Support projects in the plant.
• Ensure efficient usages on resources by leading projects and control.

• Being in a good relationship and cooperation within the other departments and suppliers.

Experience and skills required:

• Engineering Degree in Mechanics, Mechatronics.
• Minimum 3 years maintenance experience in manufacturing, high-speed environment
• Experience in automation, maintenance and Lean Manufacturing
• EHS awareness and knowledge of its principles
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Continious improvement point of view in all areas
